Account Linking Guide

In VEGA Conflict, you can link your Base to multiple login methods, allowing you to play from various platforms such as iOS, Android, KIXEYE.COM, Facebook, and Steam. While the process is straightforward, it can sometimes get tricky. This guide will help you link your account smoothly and solve common issues.

 

Account Linking Basics

When you start playing VEGA Conflict, you can choose from several platforms, each with different login methods:

  • iOS: GameCenter, KIXEYE.COM, Facebook, or Guest (no login)
  • Android: Google+, KIXEYE.COM, Facebook, or Guest
  • KIXEYE.COM: KIXEYE.COM, Facebook, or Google+ (must be linked to KIXEYE.COM)
  • Facebook: Facebook only
  • Steam: Steam only

Once you’ve chosen a login method, you can access your base from any platform that supports that method. If you want to switch platforms and the new platform doesn’t support your original login method, you’ll need to link your account.

 

How to Link Your Account In-Game

You can link your account from either the base you want to keep or the new base you don’t want to keep. Here’s how:

  1. Open your profile by clicking on your picture in the upper left corner.

  2. Select the "Account Linking" option.

    • On iOS/Android, click the picture, select Settings, then choose "Account Management." (See Image 2)

Linking from the Base You Want to Keep

  1. Select the platform you want to link to.

  2. Enter your login information for the new platform.

    • If no base exists on the new platform, your base will be linked automatically.
    • If a base already exists, you’ll be asked which account to keep.

    Tip: Pay close attention to the confirmation screens to avoid overwriting your main account.

If no account exists for the email/password entered, the link will be denied.

 

Linking from the Base You Don’t Want to Keep

  1. Follow the same steps as above.

  2. Choose to link to your original platform (e.g., started on KIXEYE.COM, now on iOS, link back to KIXEYE.COM).

    Important: Always choose to keep your main account.

 

 

Common Account Linking Problems

What are the common problems you may run into? Here's a list:

  • I lost access to my Facebook/Steam/GameCenter/Google+ account and want to link over it with a new one.
    • SOLUTION: Submit a ticket to customer support. 
  • I followed the linking flow but when I hit 'confirm' the screen never stops loading.
    • SOLUTION: This is normally performance related and can be resolved with some basic troubleshooting. However, check to see if a specific platform is having trouble.
  • Accidentally overwrote the wrong account.
    • SOLUTION: Submit a ticket to customer support.
  • I thought that my gold transferred over during account linking.
    • SOLUTION: You get the benefit in the account it was purchased. We are not able to transfer gold or other items between accounts. 
  • My account got compromised and the attacker linked to a platform I neither use nor own.
    • SOLUTION: Submit a ticket to customer support
